Introduction To A CDM student/Athlete

Introduction To Me Here is a little introduction to me. My name is Sam Chapple, I am 19 years of age and am from Rush Dublin Ireland. I have one dog and her name is lily she is a west highland terroir and is now just gone 10, getting old now. I am into different things and have a lot of hobbies such as I am mad into Boxing and MMA have been doing it and studying it my whole life nearly and am still in love with it to this day. I train in Rush fight academy with Paul Cowzer who in my opinion is one of the best coaches there is in Ireland and I owe him my life. I am also just general exercise such as going to the gym daily good for the mind and keeping everything in order with your mental health especially during a time like this . Game Design Document "GDD"

Game Design Document "GDD" Link To DunDoc Page- Link This is my GDD a complete overview of my game from the story to the community. In it, I completely highlight all aspects of the game and the direction that I would like to go in for the future. In my opinion, I think this is really helpful with staying track on your game because you can continuously update it and it gives you a guideline on what to follow so you aren't going off course with your game development. Game Idea Research

Game Design Research For my game idea that I would like to go for is the scary maze idea I talked about last week in my blog. In my opinion I think that this game would not be too difficult to make because there are so many tutorials on YouTube out there that can help me out in the creation of this game on unity. In this I will talk about three different game mechanics that I think would work well in a first-person horror maze game like this. The first one being jump scares. In my opinion this is the main idea that I would want in my game, plenty of videos out there to implement jump scares into a game. I got this idea of having jump scares from the game Five Nights at Freddy’s. The whole game is based on jump scares and are at completely random moments. Although I do not know if I want to make the game so someone is the monster like an actual person or a AI, I do think that having this game mechanic would really bring out the horror aspect that I am looking for.
